There are so many gateway products in the market.

Which one is a good one? I need some information about some good ones.

Cisco is expensive but if the others in the market justify quality based on cost, I am willing to look into them. If not, I guess CISCO is ok with me.

Please give me some feedbacks and suggest some good brands.

We have tested a number of VOIP products over the last few years.
Quintum has been a very good product when it comes to H323 protocol.
There is a reason that they are number 2 in the VOIP market.
Cisco being number one, but that is expected.
Take a look at there product line check them out on our web site.

Is Quintum Compatible with CISCO. It looks like most of the carriers are using CISCO. Is it a lot of work to get it to work with CISCO?

I have checked some prices but it seems like they are very good in terms of price...what about quality or warranty?

    Can some please elaborate?

The reason for Cisco is mainly because it supports many Codec at a time. Quintum only supports 1 codec at a time. Imagine if you have 2 or more customers with different Codec. You end up with 2 Quintum at least. Anyway Cisco is not expensive for Used nowadays, Cisco 4E1 cost you around 10.5K. Quintum D3000 E1 x 4 comes to 11K.

Afterall, most gateways are tested based on Cisco and not Quintum

I have many customers whom have bought Quintum too ended up problem with radius server and other connectivity issues.

Good things not cheap and cheap things not good!

    Hi friend,

Quintum products are already on the race now, most of the VOIP gateways used in the PHILS are quintum boxes even in the US are already starting using it, in terms of operability Quintum and Cisco are compatible. In terms of Codec problem, Quintum have already the new series of Digital boxes, the DX series, it can support mulitiple codecs, and Digital interfaces are configurable to E1/T1 not just like Cisco, if your voice cards is T1 its only T1.

In terms of cost Cisco is very expensive.
