Just wanted to make it known that Freesoftswitch.com - the popular and freely downloadable softswitch sponsored by telic.net - is now available in a Linux distribution. Freesoftswitch.com is a session border controller that provides a single point of control from which multiple SIP and H.323 end-points can be managed. By allowing for selective routing of traffic and interoperability between the SIP and H.323 signaling protocols, enterprises can choose between various VoIP termination providers for specific destinations, and increase ASR by using failover routes.
