I have some issues with the configuration for the Tenor ASG400. I am unable to have it running successfully because I need to have 4 phone lines on it with different phone numbers. Please, send me the technical manual for configuring this hardware.

Carlos,
I believe that I had responded to your email you sent directly to me. But here are the answers again; 1. The ASG has only FXS ports. FXS ports can only be used to connect directly to a Phone or to the trunk side of a PBX. FXS ports cannot be used to connect to phone lines (PSTN lines). Only FXO ports can connect to phone/PSTN lines. Additionally, you cannot change the ASG to have FXO ports. You will need to purchase a ASM or AXT/AXM that has the FXO ports. If your question is about connecting phones only, not phone lines, then you should be able to connect the phones to the FXS ports on the ASG. Maybe I did not understand your explanation, but review above and see if you understand this. 2. All documentation that is available for Quintum can be found on their web site under the support pages. Just choose your model type and you can find documentation. MikeM mike_voip@hotmail.com |
